Plumbing Apprentice

Shogun is looking for a motivated Plumbing Apprentice who wants to learn the trade, work hard, and grow into a skilled residential service plumber. This position is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way and wants to build a real career in the plumbing industry.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assist licensed and experienced plumbers with residential service, repairs, and installations
- Help diagnose and repair plumbing systems under supervision
- Assist with water heater repairs, replacements, and change-outs
- Help repair or replace toilets, faucets, fixtures, water lines, and drain piping
- Support sewer and drain line repairs as needed
- Carry tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Learn proper plumbing procedures, safety standards, and customer service expectations
- Help complete whole-home plumbing inspections
- Follow directions from lead plumbers, managers, and supervisors
- Perform additional related duties as needed
Qualifications

- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and company standards
- Ability to work independently when needed and as part of a team
- Previous plumbing, construction, mechanical, or trade experience preferred, but not required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and MVR check
Physical Requirements
This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing, crawling, and working in tight spaces such as crawlspaces, mechanical areas, and residential service environments. Team members must be able to lift, carry, and move tools, materials, and equipment commonly used in residential plumbing work.
