Residential HVAC Installation Technician

Shogun is looking for a skilled Residential HVAC Installation Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well with a team, and can install residential heating and cooling systems with professionalism and attention to detail.
Responsibilities may include:
- Install residential HVAC equipment, including heat pumps, air conditioners, gas furnaces, air handlers, coils, thermostats, and related accessories
- Remove and replace existing HVAC systems safely and efficiently
- Assist with equipment change-outs, duct modifications, line sets, drains, electrical connections, and system start-ups
- Follow installation procedures, manufacturer specifications, safety standards, and local code requirements
- Support proper airflow, refrigerant, drainage, venting, and system performance requirements
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe throughout the installation process
- Protect the customer’s home, property, and equipment while completing work
- Complete job notes, materials lists, photos, and required paperwork accurately
- Perform additional related duties as needed

Qualifications
The right candidate will have:
- Residential HVAC installation experience
- Knowledge of heat pumps, air conditioners, furnaces, air handlers, coils, thermostats, ductwork, and accessories
- Ability to use HVAC tools, equipment, gauges, recovery machines, vacuum pumps, and hand/power tools safely
- Understanding of basic electrical, refrigerant, airflow, drainage, and venting requirements
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and pride in workmanship
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Professional attitude and dependable attendance
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and company standards
- Ability to work independently when needed and as part of a team
- EPA certification preferred
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and MVR check
Physical Requirements
This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing, crawling, lifting, and working in attics, crawlspaces, mechanical rooms, and other tight residential spaces. Team members must be able to lift, carry, and move tools, equipment, parts, materials, and HVAC equipment commonly used in residential installations, including occasional heavier lifting with assistance when needed.
