HVAC Apprentice

Shogun is looking for a motivated HVAC Apprentice who wants to learn the trade, work hard, and grow into a skilled residential HVAC technician or installer. This position is a strong opportunity for someone who takes pride in quality work, enjoys working with their hands, and wants to build a real career in the HVAC industry.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assist experienced HVAC technicians and installers with residential service, maintenance, repairs, and installations
- Help troubleshoot heating and cooling systems under supervision
- Assist with heat pumps, air conditioners, gas furnaces, thermostats, control systems, indoor air quality products, and related accessories
- Carry tools, parts, equipment, and materials to and from job sites
- Help keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Learn proper HVAC procedures, safety standards, and customer service expectations
- Assist with system inspections, maintenance tasks, and equipment change-outs
- Follow directions from lead technicians, installers, managers, and supervisors
- Complete job-related paperwork, notes, and tasks as directed
- Perform additional related duties as needed
Qualifications
The right candidate will have:

- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Professional attitude and dependable attendance
- Good judgment and willingness to ask questions
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and company standards
- Ability to work independently when needed and as part of a team
- Previous HVAC, construction, mechanical, electrical, or trade experience preferred, but not required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and MVR check
Physical Requirements
This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, climbing, crawling, and working in attics, crawlspaces, mechanical rooms, and other tight residential spaces. Team members must be able to lift, carry, and move tools, equipment, parts, and materials commonly used in residential HVAC work.
